ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (APP):The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has asserted that Iran has already prevailed in what he described as the \u201cwar of narratives,\u201d claiming that public opinion across the region, including Pakistan, stands firmly behind Tehran\u2019s position. Speaking on regional developments, the envoy said that the Middle East has historically remained a center of global competition, yet major world powers have failed to counter Iran\u2019s narrative.<\/div>\n
Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, declared that Tehran has already triumphed in the “war of narratives” across the Middle East, citing strong public support from Pakistan and neighboring countries as key to its success.<\/div>\n

The Ambassador reaffirmed Iran\u2019s longstanding support for an independent Palestinian state, emphasizing that since the creation of Israel, the world has effectively been divided into two camps: those who advocate for a free Palestinian state and those who support Israel.<\/div>\n
He maintained that Iran has consistently upheld its principled stance in the Middle East and the broader region.<\/div>\n
Addressing the current crisis in the Middle East, Ambassador Moghadam said diplomatic efforts are underway to resolve tensions through dialogue, noting that the likelihood of full-scale war remains limited at present.<\/div>\n
Reflecting on history, he recalled Iran\u2019s resistance against aggression by former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, stating that Iran endured eight years of imposed war and ultimately emerged victorious.<\/div>\n
He added that the region has remained in a state of persistent tension for the past four decades due to what he termed Israeli aggression, asserting that Iran is well-versed in managing such challenges.<\/div>\n
The ambassador accused Western powers of orchestrating what he described as a false media propaganda campaign against Iran, alleging that negative narratives and misinformation had failed to achieve their intended objectives.<\/div>\n
He claimed that a majority of the regional public now supports Iran, and that media outlets in Pakistan and neighboring countries have played a constructive and supportive role, particularly during the recent 12-day conflict and the ongoing crisis.<\/div>\n
Responding to a question, he said the government of Pakistan has supported Iran at every diplomatic forum, including the United Nations, where it has voted in Tehran\u2019s favor.<\/div>\n
Ambassador Moghadam further stressed the urgent need for unity among Islamic nations, arguing that only collective solidarity can counter shared adversaries and transform Muslim countries into a formidable force.<\/div>\n
He called for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and underscored the importance of reconstruction efforts, urging Islamic countries to play an active and meaningful role in achieving peace and stability.<\/div>\n
Describing the present era as one defined by economic warfare, he said global powers are competing fiercely for economic dominance and resources. Iran, he declared, would not allow any external force to undermine its sovereignty over its national wealth, emphasizing that the country\u2019s resources belong to its people and must be defended accordingly.<\/div>\n
On the role of women in Iranian society, the ambassador highlighted the significant contributions of Iranian women across sectors including trade, education, and healthcare.<\/div>\n
He noted that women in Iran are economically empowered and play a vital role in strengthening the nation\u2019s economy.<\/div>\n
