ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said that Pakistan desired to further strengthen its exemplary brotherly relations with T\u00fcrkiye and enhance bilateral economic partnership, particularly in the fields of agriculture and livestock.<\/div>\n

The prime minister expressed these views during a meeting with a four-member delegation of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Agricultural Technologies Cluster (TUME), led by its Board Chairman Abdulkadir Karag\u00f6z, here, a Prime Minister\u2019s Office news release said.<\/div>\n

Welcoming the delegation, the prime minister highlighted that there were vast opportunities to expand cooperation with the brotherly country T\u00fcrkiye in agriculture and livestock sectors. He said Pakistan was committed to modernising its agriculture sector in line with global advancements, particularly by adopting innovative technologies as successfully practiced in T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s agricultural commodities and livestock sectors.<\/div>\n

\u201cAllah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with abundant resources in the agriculture sector. We are striving to fully harness this potential through the use of modern technology and comprehensive planning,\u201d the prime minister said.<\/div>\n

He underscored the importance of enhanced bilateral cooperation to benefit from modern agricultural technologies and expertise, adding that Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye could jointly play an important role in the global food value chain.<\/div>\n

During the meeting, TUME Board Chairman Abdulkadir Karag\u00f6z briefed the prime minister on the use of advanced technologies to enhance productivity in his organisation. He also expressed keen interest in expanding cooperation between Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye in agriculture and livestock sectors.<\/div>\n

Karag\u00f6z said that the brotherly leadership of both countries served as a guiding force for promoting closer collaboration between the business communities of Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/div>\n

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of T\u00fcrkiye to Pakistan Dr Irfan Neziroglu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Adviser to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, Adviser Haroon Akhtar, and senior government officials.<\/div>\n
