{"id":1156472,"date":"2026-02-04T10:33:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T05:33:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.app.com.pk\/?p=1156472"},"modified":"2026-02-04T10:33:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T05:33:44","slug":"itp-plans-evening-traffic-diversions-to-manage-city-flow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.app.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/02\/04\/itp-plans-evening-traffic-diversions-to-manage-city-flow\/","title":{"rendered":"ITP plans evening traffic diversions to manage city flow"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">ISLAMABAD, Feb 04 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a traffic advisory regarding temporary traffic diversions on major roads of the federal capital from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm to facilitate smooth traffic management.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">An ITP official told APP on Wednesday that during the specified time, traffic diversions will be placed on Islamabad Expressway, Murree Road and Club Road, which may cause increased traffic pressure on Islamabad Expressway and Faisal Avenue.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said commuters travelling from Rawalpindi to Islamabad are advised to use Rawal Road (Rawalpindi), 9th Avenue, Faquir Epi Road and Srinagar Highway to avoid inconvenience.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similarly, road users heading from Islamabad to Rawalpindi have been advised to use Zero Point, Srinagar Highway and 9th Avenue.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The official further said that citizens travelling between Murree\/Barakahu and Islamabad should use Korang Road, Bani Gala, Park Road and Lehtrar Road, while those travelling from Serena and Barakahu towards Rawalpindi are advised to use Park Road via Khanna.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He added that ITP officers will remain deployed on roads to facilitate citizens and ensure smooth traffic flow during the diversion period.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Citizens can obtain traffic updates or seek assistance by contacting the ITP Helpline 1915 or the emergency helpline Pucar-15, the official said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Feb 04 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a traffic advisory regarding temporary traffic diversions on major roads of the federal capital from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm to facilitate smooth traffic management.
