{"id":1152421,"date":"2026-01-28T12:01:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T07:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.app.com.pk\/?p=1152421"},"modified":"2026-01-28T12:01:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T07:01:16","slug":"pakistan-china-mineral-cooperation-forum-significant-step-to-boost-bilateral-ties-boi-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.app.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/01\/28\/pakistan-china-mineral-cooperation-forum-significant-step-to-boost-bilateral-ties-boi-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPakistan-China Mineral Cooperation Forum\u201d significant step to boost bilateral ties: BOI Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (APP):Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Wednesday said that the Pakistan-China Mineral Cooperation Forum was a significant initiative aimed at further strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Pakistan and China.<\/div>\n<div>Addressing the Pak-China Mineral Cooperation Forum as chief guest, the minister said that Pakistan and China were bound by a strong and time-tested bond of \u201ciron friendship,\u201d which continued to deepen through mutual trust, cooperation and shared development goals.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI have personally witnessed the extraordinary development of China, from which Pakistan can learn a great deal,\u201d he said, adding that enhanced collaboration in minerals and other key sectors would open new avenues for sustainable growth.<\/div>\n<div>The minister emphasized the need to further expand people-to-people and business-to-business contacts between the two countries, noting that more than 300 Pakistani companies had visited China in September 2025 alone.<\/div>\n<div>He informed that 167 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the Pak-China Business-to-Business Conference, and the Board of Investment was actively working on the implementation of all signed agreements.<\/div>\n<div>Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that the BOI was providing full facilitation to investors by improving Ease of Doing Business and offering incentives through Special Economic Zones (SEZs).<\/div>\n<div>He added that regulatory reforms were underway to further improve the investment climate and create a more conducive environment for foreign investors in Pakistan.<\/div>\n<div>The minister reaffirmed that the Board of Investment remained fully committed to promoting and facilitating foreign investment in the country, particularly from China, to achieve long-term economic development and shared prosperity.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (APP):Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Wednesday said that the Pakistan-China Mineral Cooperation Forum was a significant initiative aimed at further strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Pakistan and China.
