Sabalenka\u2019s opponent in the match for a place in the final will be the winner of the encounter between U.S. Coco Gauff (No. 3) and Ukrainian Elina Svitolina (No. 12).<\/p>\n<p>The remaining two quarterfinal matches will be played on 28 January. The clash will feature world No. 2 Iga Swiatek of Poland against Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan (No. 5), and an all-American duel between fourth-seeded Amanda Anisimova and sixth-seeded Jessica Pegula.<\/p>\n<p>Aryna Sabalenka is the two-time Australian Open champion (2023, 2024).
