{"id":1144041,"date":"2026-01-10T18:56:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T13:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.app.com.pk\/national\/iesco-notifies-power-suspension-programme-57\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T18:56:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T13:56:21","slug":"iesco-notifies-power-suspension-programme-57","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.app.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/01\/10\/iesco-notifies-power-suspension-programme-57\/","title":{"rendered":"IESCO notifies power suspension programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Saturday issued a power suspension programme for Sunday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.<\/p>\n<p>According to an IESCO spokesperson, the power supply of several feeders and grid stations will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in parts of Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, including Rawalpindi-III, VIP and Hamyoun Road feeders.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, power supply will be disrupted from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on feeders under GSO Circle, affecting F-6\/2, PM Secretariat, CBR, PM Staff Colony, Blue Area, OGDC, Quaid-e-Azam University, Saudi Embassy and Residential Staff Embassy areas.<\/p>\n<p>From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, consumers connected to Jahangir Road, M.S.F, Rahimabad, Khanna Road, C.N.C, Gulistan Colony, Topi Pump and APHS feeders will face a power suspension.<\/p>\n<p>The shutdown is scheduled from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, impacting areas fed by RIC, Benazir Bhutto, Chaklala Garrison, Gangal, Makkah Chowk, Sector-4, Humayun Road, Rehmatabad-2 and Rawalpindi-3 feeders.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in areas connected to G Block, N Block, Small Industries-1, Multi Orchard, Mix Industries, Jhang, Wah General Hospital, Model Town, A-Block, I-Block, Kohistan Enclave, Kashif Gul, Bhrama, City Arcade, Barbaqi, Bahtar More and Dhrek feeders, along with surrounding localities.<\/p>\n<p>IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage.
