MINSK, Jan 8 (BelTA)\/APP): The Belarusian air carrier Belavia has summarized its performance for 2025, BelTA learned from the press service of the airline.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Belavia carried 2,093,224 passengers, up 8.4% from 2024. Passenger traffic increased by 11.2%.<\/p>\n

In June, the airline introduced its first long-haul aircraft, an Airbus A330-200. October was a busy month: on 8 October, Belavia operated its first-ever long-haul flight from Minsk to China\u2019s Sanya; on 12 October, flights to Vietnam\u2019s Phu Quoc Island were launched; on 24 October, the charter program to Oman was resumed; and on 28 October, Sri Lanka was added to the route network. In total, 10 routes were opened or resumed in 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are developing our flight program not only from Minsk. Flights from regional airports are an important part of our strategy. We operated 1,675 flights from regional airports, which were used by 145,112 passengers,\u201d the press service said.<\/p>\n

The overall passenger load factor reached 85.9%.<\/p>\n

A separate focus area is cargo transportation. In 2025, the airline carried 3,308 tonnes of cargo (up 59.7%), and cargo turnover nearly doubled.<\/p>\n
