PESHAWAR, Jan 04 (APP):Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has unveiled a sweeping series of educational and administrative reforms for Zamung Kor Model Institute, ensuring that orphaned and underprivileged children receive comprehensive state support.<\/div>\n

During an extensive visit to institute\u2019s facilities late on Saturday, KP CM underscored government’s moral and constitutional duty to protect future of vulnerable youth, whom he described as true owners of the institution.<\/div>\n

In a landmark move to remove financial barriers to higher education, he approved a complete fee waiver for students in government colleges and directed provincial government to bear full cost of education for those enrolled in private institutions.<\/div>\n

Furthermore, he ordered allocation of a special quota for Zamung Kor children under ETEA merit scholarship scheme and immediate provision of transport facilities for students traveling to colleges and sports academies.<\/div>\n

To ensure transparency and safety, KP CM issued several executive directives aimed at modernizing institute\u2019s operations.<\/div>\n

Expressing dissatisfaction with existing manual accounting and stipend disbursement systems, he ordered an immediate transition to digital platforms.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also mandated installation of CCTV cameras in classrooms and the urgent recruitment of teaching staff to address educational gaps. To empower the students and ensure their voices are heard, Chief Minister announced establishment of a dedicated complaint cell, allowing residents to convey their grievances directly to his office.<\/div>\n

This initiative was paired with an order for immediate inquiries into removal of eleven children from institute and irregular distribution of hygiene kits.<\/div>\n

The Chief Minister\u2019s visit extended to girls’ campus in Hayatabad, where he reviewed compliance with previous directives and inspected quality of food, emphasizing that students must be provided with nutritious and hygienic meals.<\/div>\n

In a unique gesture of hospitality, he invited girls residing at Zamung Kor to CM House for a formal tour and a special luncheon. During this informal interaction, he distributed gifts and reassured students that provincial government would remain their steadfast guardian, providing full support until they complete their education and achieve complete self-reliance.<\/div>\n
