The project aims to significantly enhance the plant\u2019s capacity, efficiency, and reliability, ensuring improved quality and uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to the residents of Rawalpindi.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Special Secretary reviewed the progress in detail and expressed satisfaction over the commencement of rehabilitation work. However, he directed the project team and contractors to further accelerate the pace of construction and installation so that the project could be completed ahead of the stipulated timeline.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Issuing clear instructions, Mr Waqar Azim stressed strict adherence to approved quality standards and technical specifications. He also directed the provision of additional resources and manpower to avoid any possible delays, emphasized close supervision and effective coordination among WASA, consultants, and contractors, and ordered the immediate resolution of administrative and technical bottlenecks to keep the project on schedule.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He underlined that timely completion of the DREAMS-I project is crucial for strengthening Rawalpindi\u2019s water supply system, particularly in view of increasing demand and water scarcity.
