Khan) and Dir motorways.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting reviewed in detail progress on the Swat Motorway Phase II, D.I. Khan Motorway and Dir Motorway projects besides making key decisions.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The chief minister directed that construction work on Swat Motorway Phase II be started as soon as possible, saying that this project was a flagship initiative of the provincial government and therefore all technical and administrative issues should be resolved without delay.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The 80-kilometer-long Swat Motorway Phase II is being constructed from Chakdara Interchange to Fatahpur and includes 9 interchanges and 7 bridges at various locations over the Swat River.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chief Minister Sohail Afridi also indicated that the foundation stone of the Peshawar\u2013D.I. Khan Motorway project would be laid soon.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 365-kilometer-long D.I. Khan Motorway will include 19 interchanges and 2 tunnels. This project, along with Swat Motorway Phase II, is being completed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding the Dir Motorway project, it was decided in principle during the meeting that it would be constructed entirely using provincial resources.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The chief minister instructed that all legal and administrative requirements for the commencement of practical work be completed swiftly, adding that the provincial government was ensuring effective and transparent use of available resources to promote development and prosperity for the people of remote areas.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR, Jan 03 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Suhail Afridi here on Saturday chaired a meeting regarding flagship road sector projects to review the progress on Swat, Dera Ismail Khan (D.I.
